Door warning Lights

Take off your door panel following the diagrams below, remember to have the right tool to do the job.

Here is how you will see after you took off the panel,.
You will need to find this plug, and your pin will plug right into the slot.
Here is what you need for this project. lights and cable
Find:
Pin 18 for live connection ( + RED)
Pin 19 for ground connection ( - BLACK)

Use VCDS to activate the light.

Be sure all the nipples rest in place(2), before you install it back.
You are done!

but unfortunately, the rear door warning light couldn't activate by VCDS, i'm still looking for a way to hack in. will post up if the problem found.

VW Mudflaps Installed

In order to reduce mud and dirt stick on the door after rain also to give a bit more "4x4 look" on the Tiguan to make it more tough! Here are the mudflaps.

Before installation...

After installation!

It came with instructions, and took me 10 mins to install all four corners. You don't need to take all the wheels off for the job, but you need a small hand and good eyes.

Wing mirror LED lights

Decided to change the wing mirror blubs to LEDs, searched about ETKA and found there were two screws holding the mirror cover and the bottom base.

If you do not have tools to remove the mirror, zip-tiles are good enough to do the job,  you will find a gap in between, just slide those zip-tiles into the gap and you will have a handle to put the mirror out, BUT BECAREFUL IF YOU HAVE HEADED MIRRORS, there are 2 cables connected to the mirror, and you need to disconnect them to take to mirror off.

After you took off the mirror you will find 2 T screws and some clips which holding the bottom and the mirror cover, remove those screws and clips to get access to the light blub.

I just use some extra LEDs which i found in my tool box. and it works! LOL Easy~

Wax Day!

Is time to give BlackBear a protective wax, It jsut way bigger then my Polo GTI and it need much more time on waxing it. I use 4 hours from wash to wax, but not cleaning the interior parts.

I try the Ultimate Wash & Wax the yellow bottle, but i think it doesn't have enough foam for cleaning your vehicle, i think then NXT was and wax could do the job right, it does come with lots of foam and easy to clean. But this time just an lazy ass, sine it still new, and just wanna give it a protection from acid rain.

Here are my combination this time:

Of course with my 12V Wax machine. Ya some say, "hey! u gonna finish your battery after you wax your car!" and i was like ya... i use this 3-4 times on my polo gti and the battery is still running strong, and it prove that it doesn't use much of the energy. come on people, use your brain to think, u wont switch it on for 4 hours! u know what i'm talking about.

And the pad came out from white to dark gray...  and i still couldn't believe it. good job wax! and ya... i should clay it before i do wax, may be next time. LOL

PlastiDip VW Tiguan

In order to make my Tiguan look tougher, i got a can of PlastiDip from my friend,
so i can use this to spray all the badges on Tiguan and give a...... Mysterious look... LOL and the main point of using PlastiDip is i dont need to take all the badges off my car and it would give it a matt black look!

How do you apply it?
