Oil catch can worth it or not?

Always wonder how an oil catch can work for a direct injection engine,
Google it and came across with the following article, As i know some of
the FSI or TSI engine owner started to have engine failure after 5 or 6 years
they both have check engine lights on, engine stall, power loss, stuff like that...

For example 1.8T engine, the fuel injectors are located behind the intake valves,
when you drive fast with high rpm, it will have a chance to burn all the oils on the valves.

As TSI is a direct injection engine, no fuel will pass through those intake valves
and it will leave the oil stick on the intake valves and cause those problems
the direct injection engine no matter how hard you drive, it still cannot burn
all the oils, as you can see the following pics.

The following link show how a catch can works.  worth to read this article if you wanna know more about catch can and TSI engine.
